Terms of Use
Last updated 5 August 2026
Short, because there isn’t much to say. Using DIOL means agreeing to what’s below.
1. What DIOL is
DIOL is a tool for keeping promises you make to yourself. You write a goal, commit to it, and check in each day, alongside other people working on the same thing.
Check-ins are on your honour. We cannot verify that you did the thing, and we do not try to. The record is only as truthful as you are, which is rather the point.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use DIOL. Keep your password to yourself, anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
One person, one account. Don’t register names you intend to sit on, impersonate someone else, or automate sign-ups.
3. What you post
Community rooms let you share photos and short notes. What you post stays yours; by posting it you give us permission to show it to other people in that room, which is the only reason we have it.
Don’t post anything illegal, anything that harasses another person, or anything you don’t hold the rights to. We remove content that breaks this and can close accounts that keep doing it.
Photos shared as daily proof are deleted automatically 24 hours after they are posted.
4. This is not medical or professional advice
DIOL is a habit tracker, not a clinician, coach or therapist. Recommendations in the app come from people who completed the same promise, not from professionals. If you are making decisions about your health, talk to someone qualified.
5. Availability
We are pre-launch. Things will change, break, and occasionally be taken offline while we fix them. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
We may change or discontinue features. If a change would lose data you care about, we will give you notice and a way to export it first.
6. Ending it
You can stop using DIOL at any time. You can delete your account from inside the app, in Settings → Danger zone; it is held for 30 days first, and during that window you can cancel it by opening the app and tapping the cancel control. Signing in on its own does not cancel it.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
7. Liability
DIOL is provided as-is. We are responsible for running the service honestly and looking after your data as described in the Privacy page. We are not responsible for outcomes in your life, for the results of habits you choose, or for products recommended by other users.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye.
