Good questions.
What is doİtOrLose, in one line?
You make a promise on a personal goal, back it with a refundable deposit, and check in every day. Keep it and your money is untouched; break it and 90% goes to a charity you chose.
Do I lose my money if I succeed?
No. The deposit is fully refundable. Finish your promise and every cent comes back to you — the deposit is there to make quitting cost something, not to charge you for winning.
What actually happens if I fail?
Your deposit is collected. 90% is donated to the charity you picked when you made the promise, and a small share keeps the platform running. You choose the cause up front, so you always know where it would go.
Is this gambling?
No. There's no chance, no house edge, and no way to "win" someone else's money. The only variable is whether you keep your own word. The worst outcome is that a broken promise turns into a donation to a real charity.
How do the daily check-ins work?
Once a day you confirm you did the thing. It's on your honor — only you truly know. Some community challenges also let you share a daily photo as proof, but the check-in itself is a single honest tap.
What are the community challenges and rooms?
Curated goals — like "5,000 steps a day" — that up to 1,000 people take on together. Your "room" is everyone on that same promise. You see the group fill up, follow each other's daily proof, and push through the hard days as a group.
Can I post without showing who I am?
Yes. Every post can be anonymous — you appear under a stable pseudonym with no avatar, and no one (not even us) surfaces your real identity on anonymous posts. Or post publicly under your username. Your call, every time.
Which charities can I choose from?
A short list of vetted, well-known nonprofits — the Red Cross, World Central Kitchen, UNICEF, charity: water and more. You can see them all in the Charity Partners section and pick your preferred cause when you make a promise.
How much does it cost?
The deposit is yours and comes back in full when you succeed. No entry fee, no subscriptions, no hidden charges.
When can I use it?
We're launching soon and opening to the first 1,000 people. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first invited when doors open.
